Thursday, May 21st, 2009

Last week, WatchChoice.com made available for free download, a 45 page comprehensive how-to guide called "Buy the Watch and the Seller". The title reflects the WatchChoice.com advice to online buyers that they should not only make themselves comfortable they have found the best luxury watch but that it is equally important they are comfortable with the seller of the watch as well.

Glenn Palmer, WatchChoice.com's Managing Director, knows from personal experience that sending money across the country or to another country for a luxury Swiss or German watch or even a pre owned watch you haven't been able to see with your own eyes and touch can cause a fair degree of anxiety. "The guide provides dozens of tips in an easy-to-follow format and gives buyers practical actions they can follow without leaving their computers" says Palmer.

The first section of the eBook caters for those new to luxury watches and covers the basics of buying luxury watches such as the different types of mechanical watch movements, the importance of the number of jewels and resale values. The second section talks about knowing the total price of your watch purchase so that costs such as shipping and handling costs and import duties if you are buying from outside your country are included in your total price. Warranties are also covered in this section and the various types of warranties and the real protection they give you are discussed. This section also gives some tips on how to spot a fake luxury watch and the tactics of luxury watch imposters.

The final section covers finding the best online luxury watch seller and talks about the importance of sellers displaying multiple contact channels and being clear about their policies on returns and authenticity. It also includes the protection offered by all the various payment types such as credit cards, wire transfers and escrow as well as looking at the security of the seller's website, identity fraud and third party rating services such as BBBOnline.

Palmer said he believed "it was time that buyers were given access to comprehensive and easy to follow tips on buying luxury watch brands online. We hope our eBook and simple checklists will help buyers feel more comfortable when they come to make their next online luxury watch purchase.

Shopping for Ladies Luxury Watches

Friday, May 15th, 2009

Fashion has been one of the things that women find hard to resist no matter what the price is. Men have always been into luxury watches, but as time passed by, women too have become interested in these pieces. There is more to these watches than telling the time. These have become a fashion statement for most women, helping them express their moods.

If you are searching for the perfect watch to buy, then you've done a lot of looking for just the right design. You need a sleek watch that looks perfect on your wrist. Getting a great design that other people will notice is a key part of the process of buying a watch for women.

You may have also found yourself buying watches like jewelery- a different watch for a different look. Brand is also one thing to consider. Various brands of watches have come up with sophisticated line marketing to women. Designs using diamonds, gold, white gold and gems have been popular for most women. These are used by brands like Seiko, Citizen, Omega, Casio, DKNY, Fendi, Swiss Army watches, and other top of the line brands. They offer quality and style.

Buying a luxury watch isn't just good fashion; it's also a wonderful investment. Not only will you be proud to wear a piece of fine jewelery, but it also serves the practical purpose of telling time. If you purchase a high-end watch, then you'll know that you're getting a high quality piece that is most certainly worth the money.

Because these pieces are considered as jewelry, their value will increase rather than decrease over time. You can re-sell them in the future as valuable antiques. And, you'll be proud to wear something that you know is expensive and high quality.

You'll also find that the watch you choose to wear says a lot about you. By wearing a classic luxury watch, people will see you as elegant. Wear a funky, unique time piece to show your quirky bohemian personality. Or for maximum impact, wear a diamond watch to give off an aura of sophistication and refinement.

Investing in Quality

Luxury watches are not cheap, and you can expect to spend something in the range of thousands of dollars for just one watch. If you're spending such a fantastic sum, then you must make sure that you take care of your watch to prevent theft or damage.

For some women, it seems there's hardly a choice when it comes to luxury watches. Sometimes, a certain design or style just "speaks" to a woman, and that's the one that she absolutely must have. When you make your purchase, choose a reputable retailer to avoid being scammed. Fake knock-offs of designer watches are becoming more common, and you don't want to fall victim to spending your hard earned money on a fake.

Spending too much on a luxury watch is okay. You need to find the perfect watch that will suit you, but then again, you are not limited to buying a single watch. You can have countless of watches to suit your style. You just need to find places where you can buy them. Do not get fooled by fakes.

Luxury Watches Can Be Affordable

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Watches have been become an essential accessory for our everyday lives. In a day where accessories run the fashion industry, watches are a necessity. Most women have a dozen or more watches in their jewelry box or, in many cases, their watch box. These watches can be very expensive or cheap knock-offs. Most are middle of the road with a few luxury watches mixed in with the rest. Luxury watches can be the designer label or just a very good brand of watch. Normally luxury watches are the ones that you spend a little bit more money for.

Knock-Offs

Walking on the streets of New York City you will run into men on every corner that have suitcases full of watches. These are usually designer knock-offs that they hope to get any amount of money for. Canal Street in New York City is another place where one can find numerous shops full of watches. Very few of these are name brand watches unless they are black market watches, but most of these are watches that are made in China and have an almost identical label branded on them that is made to look like the original. Sometimes these watches work very well and sometimes they never work. You can also find knock-off designer luxury watches online as well. If you can find a reputable dealer, and there are some reputable knock-off dealers, then your chances are good at finding a working luxury watch. At the very least, if it doesn’t work, then you can probably have it replaced.

It is much more fun to have real luxury watches. Every jewelry box should have at least one luxury watch inside. Luxury watches are usually more expensive then the everyday watches that we are used to seeing, but they are well worth the money. The saying you get what you pay for is very true when looking at luxury watches and designer knock-offs. Do some research and check out the prices. Look for sales and then ask for one of these special watches for your birthday, anniversary or Christmas. If your hints go ignored then hit the knock-off stores. Most people can’t tell whether you are wearing real or not and if you don’t tell anyone it’s not real no one will be the wiser. If it makes you feel special to wear a knock-off designer watch and you act like its real, then go for it. Accessories were made to make you feel good. You can always say your luxury watch was affordable.
